Healing & Change

for adults and youth

• Our strengths & challenges often come from the same place

• Change can happen in many different ways
• Problems arise when we apply old solutions to new situations
• Sometimes we feel scattered, like many different parts, but our body is trying to integrate

• Many of the answers are inside; it is a matter of excavating them.

Collaboration

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process: you are an expert on yourself, and I am knowledgeable about development, trauma, and healing. Together, we work to create the conditions for your growth. The process is hard to describe because it is unique for each person.

During the first sessions, I begin to assess your needs and figure out how I can be of help. This is a time for you to determine whether we might be a good match. Therapy is a very personal endeavor, and it’s important for you to feel you have found a therapist with whom you can connect; this will be a relationship in which healing is discovered.. By the fourth session, you will likely have a good idea of whether I am the therapist for you, what your goals are, and how long it might take to reach those goals.

Approach

I am passionate about helping people reach their true potential. I am a clinical psychologist, trained in a variety of theories and techniques; from traditional to newly discovered, all validated by neuroscience. Using creative, non-verbal modalities, as well as conversation and inquiry, I enjoy helping people find their own path to healing.
